In 1904, two businessmen created Rolls-Royce. During lunch, Henry Royce, a successful engineer, and Charles Rolls, an outomobile salesman, decided to became partners. Royce was a perfectionist and insisted that their cars be the best in the world. Rolls agreed and Rolls-Royce was born.
The first Rolls-Royce
The Rolls-Royce 10-HP was created in 1904. It hyad big, brass headlamps, wooden wheels and a horn that looked like musical instrument. The car's top speed was 63 km/h and only seventeen were made. Today only four of these cars exist- their value is €5.5 million.
Royal cars
In 1950, Rolls-Royce supplied the British royal family with their first car, phantom IV. It was created specially for royalty and heads of stat, and is one of the most distinctive cars in the world.
21st century Rolls-Royce
Today Rolls-Royce produces three luxury cars: the Phantom, the Ghost and the Wraith. You can buy them in 44,000 different colours. Luxuries incluide:

-cameras to help with parking
-retractable "Spirit of Ecstasy" statue
