Ex-players get compensation

The National Football League (NFL) will pay a $765 million settlement to more than 4,500 ex-players. The ex-palyers, said that, when they were players they got many suffering from dementia and health problems and now they're claim money for that. They accused the NFL of hiding the dangers of brain damage while profiting from the sport's violence. It's a modest sum of money for NFL, which mad more than $9 billion last year.

In my opinion, i'm agree with the ex-players because it's a violence sport and the injures can be very serious and that money can serve for pay some docotrs, or treatment that they couldn't pay because it's so expencive. For the other part, for the NFL isn't a lot of money, and it's good to help the ex-players.

Vocabolary:
injures: hurt
sue: to institute legal proceeding against
settlement: compensation

Cat café

Happy news for cat lovers. London is to get its first cat café. Inspired by Tokyo's popular cat cafés, The eEmporium will offer Londoners the chance to play with its residents felines over tea or latté. The café is already has a waiting list of 6,000... and that's before it has any cats!

In my opinion, I think that's a stupit idea because the cafés are for the humans, and I think that the people that they're going to go are quite craze, but, I'm absolutly agree that a lot of people will go and that place it will became quite famos for the "craze" people, or the cats fanatic people.
